Teeth Whitening

You’ll typically see results after your first treatment. Dental whitening consists of one overnight treatment with the total cycle lasts about two weeks. There will be one treatment every night and you’ll continue to see results after each nightly treatment. 

No, teeth bleaching or whitening will not harm your tooth enamel in any way. 

Over the counter bleach is a lower concentration than the strength that we, as dentists, can prescribe. With the higher strength bleach, the results last longer and are achieved in a shorter amount of time.

Custom, take-home bleaching trays are a convenient and long-term solution to achieving a brighter smile. First, an impression of your teeth is taken to craft your bleaching trays – one for your upper teeth and one for your lower teeth. We will make sure your bleaching trays fit properly, show you how to apply the whitening gel, and discuss the amount of time your bleaching trays should be worn each day to achieve your desired results. 

Some people do have some sensitivity. We take all precautions to help avoid any discomfort. Tooth sensitivity usually subsides once your full cycle is done. 

In addition to conventional bleaching trays, we also offer an in-office teeth whitening service. During in-office whitening, we coat your teeth with the whitening agent and then use a high intensity light to activate it. You can have whiter teeth in as little as an hour!
